M101AI : Sepsis Theranostics

Sepsis is a life-threatening clinical illness characterized by organ dysfunction resulting from a dysregulated immunological response to an infection. Despite intensive clinical and scientific efforts, the mortality rate of sepsis remains high due to the lack of precise biomarkers for patient stratification and therapeutic guidance. Our sepsis theranostic strategy includes blood-circulating WARS1-guided patient identification and prompt anti-WARS1 antibody treatment for hypercytokinemic severe sepsis, saving lives.
